How do I reset a forgotten password?
If you’ve forgotten your password, it’s simple to reset. Log out of SCMP.com, head to account.scmp.com, enter your email, and click on the 'Forgot password' link. You will receive an email to your registered email address. Follow the instructions in that email to reset your password.
How do I change my password?
While logged into an existing SCMP account, go to account.scmp.com, and click on 'Edit Profile' in the sidebar. Click 'Change password', and you will be prompted to enter your current password. After you’ve done that, you can enter and confirm your new password.
You will receive a confirmation message to your registered email once you have changed your password.
What if I don't have a password?
If you registered using Google one-tap registration or your social account, you will not have initially set a password. If this is the case, please click on 'Edit Profile' in the sidebar, click 'Change password' and then click on 'Forgot password'. You will receive an email to your registered email address. Please log out from your SCMP account before clicking on the reset password link in the email. After clicking on the link, you will be prompted to enter and confirm your new password.
